Beautiful pictures. I thought of mom when I looked at these. She loved daylilies and iris flowers. When Mom died I lived there for a short while. The home was mine until an ugly marriage of 38 years got in the way of life. When I moved I took all that I could with me.. They are blooming in a small garden that my son made for me.. I think of her everyday.. I could not get the one thing that I loved. it was a plant that my mom moved from our old farm place back when I was young. The Rose of Sharon I left behind.. I miss it as it was above the sink and grew tall while I washed dishes I would watch them bloom.. and little bumble bees would go in and out of the blooms. I once caught a Hummingbird, resting on one bloom.. I loved it there..
