Name: david sevitt
jerusalem israel
on the 2 of july i decided to transplant my decorative pumpkin wich was in a 5 litre bucket.(i thought it was too small for him)so together with the seeds of
1.melon
2.squash(white and zuccini)
3.green been
4.tomatoe
5.cucumber
i sowed into my old compost heap(1.2/1.2 meters i n a 40 centimeters deep window frame) icovered the heap with gardening soil(the top layer) and dug a little hole with potting soil for each seed
i think what i did was a little bit brave
1.the weather is very hot these days
2.the place is very shady.
i would like to hear some professional remarks.
just for an example:i have another decorative pumpkin on my western patio(in a 15 litre bucket )and it is dancing and creeping so fast that it is frightening.
i am making a competition between a plant in a sunny location and big container to a plant in a shady location but in an enormous container and endless nutrition.
