I have to say, when I was researching Jim's Pick online, I didn't think it was that great. Rolling my eyes. I was really just trying to find a daylily that had "Jim" in it and I was leaning toward "Which Way Jim" because that was purple and fell more in line with my hybridizing color scheme. I had a bit of difficulty finding someone who had Which Way Jim in stock, though, and when I saw that a local hybridizer had some with blooms (meaning I could hybridize with it this year instead of next year) of Jim's Pick, I decided to look at it while I was there.

I am very happy I purchased it, it has such beautiful coloring and fragrance. Sandi, I can see why that would be a daylily that would get you into daylilies in the first place, for sure! There really aren't any other daylilies out there quite like it. It has such rich peach and pink coloring with the very distinct, thick, rippled midrib...it's definitely a good flower. I got mine for only $4, too, so it was a great buy all around for me. Hurray!
