Neil I have had this forsythia for this will be the 4th season. Its beautiful all summer long but has never bloomed. Our unpredictable springs always kills the buds off. So This year I decided that if I am ever going to see the forsythia bloom I will have to force it to bloom, so I did.
The point is the flowers in March when there is usually snow on the ground or will be again soon. Its a mood lifter and a hope lighter for spring to be here soon........
