So glad, Shoe, that I didn't have to take you up on the offer of the heart transplant. Why, who knows, I might have ended up with a long white beard and shoes that wouldn't for the life of me fit my bigger feet. I thank you anyway for the offer, and I know it came from the heart. Smiling

As for beans, well, they're staples in my diet and being a little old lady, of course I won't touch the rest of your bean topic with a 10 foot pole, but aside from that, I do get my share. Great source of protein, too, ya know. Grandmothers and Great Aunt Betts knew what they were talking about.

But the best thing, Shoe, just look all these Caladiums!! I've always thought foliage was just as pretty as most blooms and now I know for sure. The other best thing is that we've had so much rain I have hardly ever had to water them.

All in all it's been a pretty good summer in spite of having to give up those best laid plans. I reckon I can't complain a bit.
Always great to hear from you, Shoe, thanks so much.
