I was actually coming back to ask about the conditions it grows in!
Aside from full sun... What temps does it get exposed to?
What soil is it planted in?
When was it repotted?
Do you see roots coming out the drain holes?
What are you feeding it, what strength and his often.
How much experience do you have with these plants?
Again, a rough idea of where you live can help a lot too!
Alocasia can be very slow to wake up and really grow! And when they're aclimating to new conditions they can slow down.
If they're up and active, it's hit our and they get ample care they move fast!
A leaf a week isn't a bad rate, colocasia can do a leaf every other day! I love that!

The more info you give, the better chance we have of figuring it out.

It looks like your doing fine with it, I'd not fret, but let's make sure your culture is right so you can get the best growth possible.
Please tree mail me for trades, I'm ALWAYS actively looking for more new plants, and love to trade!
