If my animals mess up or destroy something in my garden, it can be upsetting, yes, but the animals and yard are mine. I do not allow my critters to roam the neighborhood and when I walked the dogs, we circled our yard a number of times first and I carried a bag for disposal, here or along the street.
Not much blows a beautiful morning in the garden like putting your hand or foot or a tool in the remnants of a critter's visit.
