I do not remember if I mentioned, the Monarchs are thick this year. I am amazed at the numbers compared to previous years. It really has helped that the county people have not yet mowed our road. I wonder if they were sent a memo to not be so aggressive with mowing down milkweed. I want to try and transplant a few of the Whorled Milkweed that came out of nowhere, but it's right in the patch of that mower blade.
