we are living in my parents inlaws apartement where the lilium flowers every year on my mother-in-laws birthday....
i have being watering the plant till five minutes ago...thinking....these bulbs need to rest during the summer.two questions.
1.do you think i have changed the ritual of flowering time by watering non stop?
2.should i take out the bulbs imediately to avoid rotting?but then......flowering time?
obviously i will forget to plant them in fall.....they wont flower on time.....they wont flower at all because they will still be in storage......is there a mechanism that starts working from the moment i plant them or it is a higher level of functioning dealing with induction by cold weather...like some other bulbs?
my intuition says after all this talking.....nature is forgiving.....stop watering the plant put the pot aside with the cylamens and wait for miracles
