Nobody has started an August seedling thread... I was asked in another thread about showing some of the seedlings I've seen in the beds this year. I know most everyone likes the patterns and finally have a few sorted. I don't do very many pattern crosses anymore and don't put much thought into crosses with them. Mostly whatever is open and catches my eye, might make 4 or 5 crosses a day.

These are a few that have bloomed from Shoulda Coulda Woulda...

and from Shattered Illusions. The first is a sdlg that was kept from a single cross with SI that bloomed 2 years ago, I have been going against my not so many pattern crosses and using it a lot this year on different things Smiling

A little bit of a lift to show the pattern on the sepals is ok, but deep canoeing is one fault I really don't like. Came from an old 2010 sdlg out of Huckleberry Candy x Guided By Voices that is a parent of the sdlg I crossed with SI. Grumbling They may get better with another year....the third one most likely is not worth even working with.
