'Sdlg. 'Fantasy Fringe X 'Royal Cypher' - 3 yr.old sdlg. that bloomed last year for the first time. I held it over because I liked it. Amazing substance on this plant. Color is the palest of yellow/cream with a huge yellow eye which blends into this phenominal mauvish/purple outline from its parent 'Fantasy Fringe that extends out almost to the end of each petal. The double edge is frilly and consistent. The sepals are showing a slight pattern. Scape is 20", flower is 6". 9 buds.Since this is a maiden bloom, I expect this flower to deepen in color as the temps cool down here. And eventually I will move this plant to the main garden.
