Thanks : Leon, I trial lots of snap beans. Contender has been my control variety since the 70's. There is no better all around snap bean. There are are a few that excel in specific areas like production or visual appeal . Snap beans are a spring and fall crop here. Finished by July. Just planted the fall crop yeasterday. Igloo and you guessed it Contender.
