Sue - True. I always think of dormants as plants that need the cold of Winter to do well in Spring/Summer. And I also think of them as more cold hardy to survive northern Winters. I guess that is why I said "hard" dormant. I think I associate "hard" with "hardy". Thumbs up I hope being a dormant that it does well for me here in Florida. I've never successfully grown a dormant in my garden before. Most disappear (die) after about 3 years. But then again, they were young seedlings, so maybe that was the problem.
