Thanks all, that's a great idea about the car cover although I don't think a regular plastic cover would last very long here in the Texas dry heat. I've had the Trumpets for about 4yrs now. The ones blooming were in the winter. They're outside now and I have to water them every day. The bloomed really nice in the spring but now that the heat has set in they're not doing so much. I did manage to get two seed pods so far with about 30 seeds or so all together. I planted some Datura seeds that I've had for awhile this spring and I've got six of those coming up. They're from the plant pictured below. I need to report them again soon as they're outgrowing the 2nd pots I've had them in. These are from 2 years ago.
