It also reminds me of Nicotiana glauca (which can be an invasive in parts of CA.) If so, then it will be easy to tell when it blooms and you can remove it, if needed. Although the leaves are usually a bit more pointed than your plant, the leaf shape can be variable on Nicotiana glauca and I've seen some photos of leaves with really rounded leaf tips. Shrug!
