Here there moved around by Jays that plant them and other nuts including pecans, walnuts, chestnuts, and tons of acorns then forget them. There gardening ideas make for a lot of work removing seed/saplings which can be tough if they get growing for a while before you fined them. Most chestnuts that fall are eaten by one critter or another including me. They make a delicious soup! I tip my hat to you.
