I'm pretty sure it's not Common Boneset (Eupatorium perfoliatum), but rather the closely related Late Boneset (Eupatorium serotinum) .

In Common Boneset, the paired leaves are fused at the base with no petioles. But, the leaves of your plants clearly have petioles.
