That is a lovely bloom Becky! I also love epis, adopted them from Sue a few years ago. I usually get my blooms here in my area during Spring and sometimes early Summer. It is hit and miss in my area, just depends how hot it goes I guess. In my very dry area, got to step up watering to help it.

This noid epi has been generous this year, gave two blooms:

This one is Epi 'Newport' which I got from a garden show in 2011, I grew it first indoors by our west facing window and was rather slow, then I decided to bring it out and it responded much better, finally blooming in May 2013. It taught me a lot of what epis needed, more light and more water in our dry area Smiling
