I obtained this lovely cultivar the year before Darryl Apps retired. I am so glad I spent the $50 he was charging for this intro, which I thought was not a bad price. Sexy Sally is very hardy, and both pod and pollen fertile. This summer I had 3 way branching with 16 buds. Sexy Sally is also a very good cold morning opener and does well in hot sun. It's flower form can look different, depending on the weather. It grows very true to the stats listed in the plant database. I really never noticed the spent blooms falling off. It's possible they do but next summer I will pay more attention to that.
