If it works the same as my Android phone, using Chrome go to ATP then select the menu (top right). The drop-down menu gives the option "Add to Home Screen". Select that and the icon will be placed on the tablet's home screen (you're given the option of adding a name for it). If your tablet doesn't do it the same way as my phone then hopefully someone else can help.
