It's pretty bad here - 3 firefighters lost their lives today. I can see the glow of the fire over the ridge and the smoke is horrible. We have a pretty big green space around our house and the Methow river on one side so we are safe for now and praying we don't get high winds tomorrow as predicted. Twisp and Winthrop are evacuated and the only way out of the valley right now is to Pateros, with both the Loup and the North Cross closed right now.
