Indian Giver is such a pretty purple that I think it's a keeper. This year, I even got a rebloom scape, it just finished blooming a few days ago.

I still had 3 of the dried-up original scapes and the rebloom scape. Sorry to say that bud count is only between 6-8 per scape, with short 3-way branching. However, it increases so well, it sends up lots of scapes.

When I first purchased Indian Giver in 2011, I separated the double fan. It produces small fans, but today I can easily count at least 15 fans from one of the original fans. It is not a very huge clump because as I said, the fans are small and don't take up a lot of room. I guess what it lacks in bud count, it makes up for by having so many scapes. The other original fan that I planted has been divided to give some away in 2013, but even that one has increased nicely to 8 fans today.

In this picture, you can see that it blooms above the foliage, which is a trait that I really like.

This is just a close up of the same picture showing the branching and buds.

Funny, but the rust resistant rating is 2.7. Now I have rust in my garden, but this one is kind of segregated from a lot of the other daylilies, but it only has a few very tiny rust spots. Not sure why, but with a 2.7 rating, I was surprised not to see more.

I'm also surprised my dh hasn't asked me why I keep leaving the computer and running outside Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing !

Edited to add: Indian Giver has only about a two-week bloom period here in my zone 6b garden. Then it is about another 4 weeks before I got the one rebloom scape this year.
