I have a border of various daylilies in full view in my front garden. The foliage looks terrible most of the time because of the rust. All of those plants are seedlings of unknown parentage. I have recently been acquiring rust resistant registered cultivars for hybridizing and also to grow clumps I can divide and eventually replace all the rusty daylilies in that front border. Being in full view makes my front yard garden look awful, so rust resistance cultivars has become a recent goal for me.
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters, compared to what lies within us.
