Try one of the vine types . I am hesitant and most are to talk about them , However they will grow in the shade , as 4 or 5 hrs of sunshine , However , there is one here growing on the North side of the house , get bright light that is all , it will grow for the sun anywhere .. Another is growing from the base of an 18 ft Apple tree , it is over the top of the tree ,now , it dies back to the ground in winter .Herbaceous ) vigorous ,
Of course when you miss getting one pod that goes to seed , Your neighbors might want to hang you when it grows on every fence and trellis within five Miles Rolling on the floor laughing
In the Butterfly garden if a plant is not chewed up I feel like a failure
