We have at least a dozen different varieties of oaks and would like to (finally) try to identify them, with help of course. I'm starting now with the leaves green and will document the acorns and color changes as they arrive.

This one sits at the edge of the forest, it's quite large, guessing 70 to 80 feet tall and very wide, taking up most of this picture.
