Alan, I am in northern Kentucky close to cincinnati Ohio. I collect tall bearded modern iris. I like the big ruffles and bright colors. My mother never grew iris, but was a gardener. We had a huge vegetable garden and blackberries. I have loved played in the dirt my entire life. I have always loved being covered in mud. I have been growing iris for about 5 years when my husband and I finished building our house my addiction to the iris began. Started out with 10, went to 30, then 100 well. Let's just say I have added over 150 this year. Lol
