I have had Custard Candy for about 6 years, it took a couple of years to settle in, since then it has multiplied quickly, and has formed a large clump, I divided it last year and gave some away, it is a reliable bloomer even under my harsh growing conditions, it may be an older simple daylily but the blooms open reliably unlike the new fancy ones that do not like cool summer nights. Scapes are solid and about 24 inches, with good branching and bud count. For me this one is a keeper.
