Thanks for the info. I will try the method of potting them up and detaching them after I see roots.
It looks like they do have the swelling at the base. I assume that these are hardy in our zone 8a. With the sale in Sept. they should have time to settle in prior to a Nov. freeze.
What type of fertilizer do you for your EEs ?
