I have used milorganite this year as well and it has also helped keep the rabbits out of of the daylilies as well. I think that alternating helps keep the deer from becoming to familiar with one odd scent. But whatever keeps them from nipping off my buds right before they bloom.... I will do it. So the hair/perfume along with the milorganite has equaled no lost buds! I hope it does the same for each of you!
