TY! I'm going to take tons of cuttings and see what happens, IDK either. That's how that pot got nominated to be included. Had a lot of surface area to use and I know I'll be hanging it in a sunny spot. Most info sources say Portulacas are nannuals, but so many people have anecdotes of them overwintering inside, and showing up outside in a way the following year that doesn't seem like seedlings. My moss roses (P. grandiflora) all died out, which I was afraid of from putting the store-bought root balls of peat & styrofoam into the ground. (Should have taken cuttings first.) I can only experiment with P. umbraticola & amilis this winter.
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.
