Here in NW Missouri, my last sighting last year was October 9 - fer sure passers-thru. I have not noticed any the past several days so ....
I too miss them when they are gone. But I always provide a welcome feeder always filled - only take it down after first frost and put it up a couple of weeks before average first sighting for my area.
