I read this sometime last week and now I think of pink pearls every time I go out to check on my Queen. It is late in the season, but today some of those pearls burst open!! I planted several this spring, but only the one developed flowers.

So far, we have not seen any Japanese Beetles here, but have further east in the Des Moines area see them. We have plenty of other pests that I have been picking off some of my favorite flowers, just to get pictures without seeing them. Sad
