I have to agree with blue23rose ,I had to wait all season for a parade of blooms before I could even identify 'David Kirchhoff'. It had been given to me with over twenty other named daylilies, but I was having to ID them as they bloomed and 'David Kirchhoff' kept blooming but with unrecognizable blooms. Finally, the blooms cleared up and became much less splotchy and I was able to recognize it. By the time it quit blooming, it had displayed a few pretty nice blooms, and it did produce quite a few blooms. Being, this was the first season for it to bloom I have hopes it will do better next year.
Edited to add that still the Id remains a mystery, this was not David Kirchhoff.
