I will start in my basement under lights likely starting in January or so. I use heat mats and plastic domes over standard seed trays. I will also spread them out over 2 or 3 plantings. By April, I can move to my "pretend" green house (el cheapo plastic ~ 5' x 6' x 7').
Any other hints et cetera I will rely on DrDawg who as a neophyte also started growing them from seed ~ 2 years ago. :-)
It is my understanding that they are fairly easy to grow from seed.
