In my case, I view them as good. They are food for wildlife. I am odd, I do not mind having moles around. This is the first time in several years we found their trails in our yard, but we walked on those trails to press them down. The areas stayed green. We had them before, but they stayed in the pasture.

The grubs also feed birds. When we were in Omaha, we used some chemical grub killer. We actually bought some after moving to the country, but never got around to using it. At some point, we noticed the birds probing the ground and finding grubs. I will live with grubs if it keeps these birds fed. I think it is pretty special having Meadowlarks as yard birds, so much so, that I would rather have them than a nice looking yard. Smiling
