The "rounding" of the leaves seems to be caused by overuse of some type of leaf shine. No plant has that kind of shine naturally. For dieffenbachia, there is a huge number of variations in leaf color, pattern, size and shape. If you were to envision your leaves in the "flat" natural form, as in the pics in the previous link, you would see that it is indeed a dieffenbachia.
