I wanted to repot my jade plant a couple of years ago during the winter, and I was told not to, because of the shallow root system and their propensity to rot. So, I just left it in the small pot (12 or 14 inch, can't remember). It is so ungodly top-heavy that I just set that pot in a large decorative one to give it more weight. At least it doesn't tip over. LOL

Good luck with yours, Joanna.
