they are plastic.. and cheap.. christmas tree shop find!!.. think each set was $4.00 on clearance.. I scooped em all up!! I like that I can add a layer on as the toms grow taller.. and if one doesn't perform so great it doesn't have the extra height.. and I can use the ring for a better plant
my house is not swap Ready.. wish it were.. but I am heading up to NH on sat for a DG swap.. it's a hike.. but I love the company of the NE people.. such a great group.. they always make it worth while to travel
