I know Common Staghorn Fern (Platycerium bifurcatum) does very well in dappled shade but I don't know if they can handle any direct sunlight, especially here in Florida.

The yard at our house in Sebastian is pretty well shaded with lots of Oak, Pine and Palm trees and there are a few Staghorn Ferns attached to and hanging in some of the trees. I haven't been there since our tenants took possession of the premises in May and I'm praying that the Stag's are still alive. They do get some early morning sun; these photos were taken @ 8:30 in the morning:

I only have one small Staghorn Fern here and it's in very bright light but doesn't get any direct sun.
