I just finished. My plants have been frozen dead for at least two weeks. I dug them and Damien helped me take them inside. They are laying on the floor in the garage and my car is outside now. I know it isn't ideal but I simply don't have any way to put them up on screens or anything else. Beats leaving them in the ground. Some were pulled a few days ago and are drying and shriveling. I need to tend to those. I am thinking of trying to save in clumps rather than dividing them. I have many multiple clumps of the same dahlia like Ice Berg, Blue Bell, Mardy Gras, Puget Sunshine and two and three of several others. Course that doesn't equate to having them next spring as we all know. Now I can use the time before snowfall (while it rains every day) to tidy up the yard, get the hardware stored etc.
