So I have 2 Oktoberfest plants that I received in August and both have shot up with flowers (which is very late in the season for here in CT).

So this past week, I had to blossoms on the one plant. I missed the first, but the second was open in the late afternoon (4pm). The next day, it was still open and looked pretty good through late afternoon.

So I have searched through various databases and don't see anything about noctural traits. Our nights have been about 50 degrees and our days have been topping out in the high 60's to low 70's. They aren't really getting a lot of sun at this point because they are in a temporary raised flower bed, so not sure if these are factors too. Plus really, it isn't supposed to bloom in October.

So what do you all think??
