DomehomeDee said:I've made several of these "towel" planters the last two years. This is the latest design. I used an exercise ball to mold a cement soaked towel over. I then used some aviary wire to strengthen it being it was so large. A few coats of cement painted on to cover and it's done!

Dee, if you make another one of these wonderful containers, I too hope you will take photos of each phase of the project and submit it to Trish with step by step instructions. It sure would make for a nice article published here on ATP!

Although I have a very short attention span and little patience I do think that is an incredible container and when we move to our retirement home next May I'd love to try my hand at making a couple for our pool deck! I would definitely need step by step instructions to complete the project. *Blush* I wasn't sure what was meant by an exercise ball; LOL, the first thing that came to my mind was this heavy leather ball my husband has in the garage from years ago that he used for working out but I googled "Exercise Ball" and found that Walmart sells different sizes: http://www.walmart.com/browse/... It would be fun to make a couple of different size containers; maybe a bath towel for the large size and a hand size towel for a smaller container?
