My niece just started teaching pre-K in a school in South Chicago. The first day she had 32 kids in the class, and almost had a nervous breakdown. Was a shock to her confidence to control that many kids without a helper. I heard the ones from the projects were some foul mouthed tough guys already. To her credit she is still sticking it out.
