No this is a woody plant. I know Japanese knotweed. My shrub/tree has different foliage. The mature foliage has a cordate base and the veining is different that knotweed. It took a whole year for the seed to germinate. It is only 3' after 3 years and the second seed that grew is much slower and only 1' tall after 3 years. But thank you for your thoughts.
