Ir has rained around me several times - but it splits and goes around to the North or South. Today it was raining about 8 miles South of me. My City is located on the Missouri River and on our side we have immediate river bluffs and over in Kansas a few miles away are bluffs as well. That along with atmospheric conditions often causes rain & storms heading our way to split. Watching it on the radar is eery.
