to ATP What kind of light will you be providing for your plants and what kind do you have? Start off by filling the bottom of aquarium with rocks or sand and leave succulents in pots hidden in the deep gravel and decorate to enjoy is what I would do. Something kind of like this below perhaps? I got this off the web and this picture is not of my work but is an example of how it can be done with your tank.
