I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Farmer Cottage Gardener Enjoys or suffers cold winters Annuals Daylilies
I bought my first 3 tree peonies last fall.
One is very stunted.
Only a few inches tall where as the other ones
are much bigger.
Its on the east side of my house.
There is a group of Oriental Lilies in front of it that creates some shade
but i have one planted in part shade that is doing well.
I'd like to take it out (to plant soemthing else in that spot )
pot it up, then replant this fall.
Would that be okay or should I just pitch it due to its puny size?

I also have one I think is probaly in too much shade.
When is the best time/month to transplant Tree Peonies?
Any tips appreciated.
