This is another double red fernleaf divided and transplanted in the fall of '09. Bloomed last year and shows good increase in eyes. I don't know if I have a 'fernie thumb' or not but I have had a very high success rate. I think most people shy away from dividing them, thinking their diminutive size makes them delicate. They are tough as nails if you handle their roots gently.
