For the Maranta leucoreura it's better to wait until Spring. Make a plastic "tent" to keep humidity levels up; keep planting medium fairly moist and give the plant some sun.

I've never had the Cyanotis beddomei; hopefully someone else will come along with an answer for that one.

My old stand-by is usually the Forsyth Pot method; works well for most things.
