The colour combination is just perfect! The blue is almost purple!. Do you have mildew problems with your Garden phlox? I had assumed that phlox preferred wetter soil than rudbeckias. I have a rather sandy soil and rudbeckias do fine, however not very long lived. Perhaps three seasons in a row. So I just keep sowing them each year to have plentiful.
